Note From Pastor Jordan: What is the wisdom of this world and why does God hate it so much? The answers to these questions shape our understanding of life itself as a believer. When a person is saved from the penalty of sin & death by Jesus’ blood, they are to draw from a new source of wisdom. Genuine believers draw from a wisdom that relies on God’s strength, character, and the truth. God’s wisdom points us to look outside of ourselves for the answers to life’s biggest questions. While worldly wisdom hopelessly pursues selfish vanity, Godly wisdom quietly seeks God for help through every circumstance. The world hates this kind of wisdom because it points out their need for God.
