- Christ's death for our sins shows we are sinners who deserve death. Fortunately, it also shows that God loves us (John 3:16) and sent His Son to meet His righteous demands against our sin.
- Christ's death for our sins allows God to remain just while forgiving our sins when we rely on His atonement to make us right with God (Romans 3:23-26).
